They took the time to understand our objectives and provided innovative solutions that exceeded our expectations. The construction process was completed quickly and with great precision. Overall, I can't recommend WDS Commercial enough - they are a five-star business!

We worked with WDS Commercial over the past year on a tenant improvement project that involved everything from demolition to design and construction of an entirely new floor plan to accommodate a change of use for a decades old building which involved bringing it up to code, including adding fire suppression, new roofing, electrical, AC ducts, opening up walls, bathroom buildouts, concrete leveling, among many other things. Mike, the head of WDS, is a visionary and upon surveying the building saw the potential and identified all of the risks for us up front. He also leads a great team who made the project a success. Trevor was the project manager and ensured a smooth process from start to finish, working with the WDS engineers and architects as well as the many subcontractors on our requests. He juggled all of these tasks and always kept an open line of communication to keep us up to date on timelines, and navigated through the many permits the city required to get through the construction and build process all the way to completion of all inspections and certificate of occupancy being granted. Trevor's attention to detail, effective communication, and proactive problem-solving skills kept the project moving, and while every project has hurdles, we couldn't be happier with the results. He was also mindful of saving us money wherever possible by procuring multiple bids for subcontractors in every phase of the project to ensure a job well done at the most reasonable cost. Trevor and the WDS team documented the project throughout and compiled a set of photos for us to see the transformation which added a personal touch to the project. If you're looking to do a build out, renovation, or any type of commercial construction involving architectural design services, you cannot beat the meticulousness of Mike and the WDS team who come up with innovative designs and ensure quality craftsmanship while keeping to realistic timelines to drive your project to completion.

I cannot say enough good things about WDS. I worked with them for nearly a year on a pretty large scale project involving the conversion of an art gallery that had sat vacant for several years, underwent severe water damage, and had fallen way behind on building code, into a modern office. I used them for both the architectural and construction needs. Having both under the same roof was amazing because were able to move at a very fast pace. I worked directly with Mike at the onset of the project, he’s a friendly and patient person who pays a close attention to detail. He explained everything to me, which was great, because I had little to no experience in this area previously. I’m just a business owner. My day-to-day project manager was Trevor, who I also really enjoyed working with. He’s somebody that is truly passionate about his work, and genuinely cared about my project. Both Mike and Trevor, as well as everybody else I interacted with at WDS, are just all-around great people. I literally cannot see enough good things about them, they are honest, friendly, have incredible communication, etc. Truth be told, I was dreading this project from the start, having heard countless horror stories of construction projects, being a nightmare with never ending overages, delays, and unkind people. To my delight, not one of those things happened, we of course hit some bumps and snags along the way, but nothing terrible. I genuinely enjoyed this project from start to finish, and I have this amazing team to thank for that. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and I would recommend them to absolutely everyone.

My experience with WDS Commercial was nothing but positive. They completed the job on time with minimal punchlist items and on budget. They were extremely responsive throughout the entire process and the newly remodeled space looks better than imagined! I would highly recommend.
