Paul Davis was the preferred contractor of our home insurance company; which was great for us because we didn't have to search for a contractor on our own! Our introduction of Paul Davis came after meeting the water mitigation team (the ones who dried out the humidity of the water and tore out bad walls, cabinets, flooring, etc.) because it was confirmed that we had water damage in our kitchen. The water damage affected the shared wall of cabinets in the kitchen and the shower wall in our hallway bathroom as well as the hardwood floors in our kitchen. Once the water mitigation was done (about 3 weeks of time), the restoration/reconstruction team came into play. Our project manager was so great to work with. Evan explained the process of restoration (no order of the process, but ordering supplies such as flooring, tile for the bathroom wall, cabinet choices, cabinet paint, countertop material & design, cleaning process, plumbing, electrical, drywalling, etc.) and was empathetic to our situation, and understood this was a traumatizing and stressful time for us as homeowners. Evan worked with us on our kitchen redesign and had consistent communication with us throughout the entire process. He was quick with taking action if something didn't go as planned (i.e. rescheduling vendors, backorder of supplies, replacing our damaged tub from mitigation, etc.) as well as following up on design choices. Evan took pride in our particular project and worked diligently to make our home "our home" again.
