We hold an Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) License Classification B-3 General Residential Remodeling. This license requires verified remodeling experience and extensive knowledge of Residential Building Code. We also provide 3D drawings of the project to confirm the details and make sure you are getting exactly what you want.

My wife and I found Golden Bear on Yelp and couldn’t be happier. He was extremely helpful and patient with us when it came to building our dream shower. He directed us on where to look for the things we wanted to make it ours and we were thankful for the job he did in our shower. The tile work turned out amazing and was done very timely and efficiently and looks great. Overall, if you’re not choosing Golden Bear for your remodel projects you’re missing out on a great experience.

Michael and his assistant recently remodeled our master shower/bath to a large and beautiful tiled, walk-in shower. It's absolutely fantastic! He does it all, from start to finish, on time, full days at a great price. Highly recommend, and look forward to working with him in the future!

Michael and his team remodeled my master bathroom and second bathroom which included gut, extend and replace shower stall, custom tile on the walls, floor tile, and replace toilets. Overall nice job, easy to work with, on time, reasonable price but the finishing details were terrible. I had to go behind them with sticky notes to correct the sloppy finishing. They decided to change the color of the grout in my second bathroom. Michael told me the color was correct just needed to dry. I contacted them to correct the grout color and Michael agree via email but never returned my call to schedule to this day. There were several places where grout was missing. The did not seal the grout. I had to pay another company to correct the grout color and seal it. My shower included body sprays which do not work any more. They have not honored the warranty as promised. Once you pay him he will disappear. I will have to hire a plumber and hope they can correct my shower without tearing out the wall. I would not recommend them.

Don't look any farther in your search for a general contractor! Can't say enough about the professionalism of Golden Bear Contracting. He does all the work himself, no subcontractors. We remodeled our home in Gilbert that our son and daughter-in-law live in: full bathroom remodels in the master and guest bath, and installation of a new tile floor in the laundry room. Mike was there promptly every morning, worked hard and finished the job in the timeframe promised. He cleaned up as he went and we couldn't be happier with the result! One of the best things about this company is that he came out and gave us ways to save money as he was measuring for the estimate. (We had one company that didn't even want to come out and instead requested that we send pics and do all the measuring ourselves...and they came in much higher in their estimate!). Mike put together an estimate that was very reasonable, including averages for ALL materials. It was perfect because we then had the option to purchase all our materials, with no pressure and managed to come in under budget. Some items we chose were higher in price than his included materials budget, and many were lower. This made the whole process much easier and we got exactly what we wanted. Since we are out of town, Mike kept us informed every step of the way, with new revisions to the invoice as we chose materials. He is very honest, dependable, and we will definitely hire him again should we decide to do further work on the house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
