One of the worst and shortest jobs I’ve ever had. Low pay, poor working conditions. The management is way over heads and up to their eyeballs in poor decision making. Jack in the box seems like a better choice if you’re looking for employment! It gets worse, Galaxy refuses to pay me until the next scheduled payday (August 4th) Arizona State law requires employers to pay an employee within 72 hours after their employment ends. The law is very clear. My last day was Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning. Galaxy, you are on the clock !

I was out of work for a month or two, and ended up pretty broke. Hired on with this company, and eagerly waited three weeks for my first paycheck. Figured I could pay rent, catch up on some bills, buy some groceries and fill my gas tank. I even had to get a $300 advance from the office just to cover my expenses. To my surprise, I discovered that they do NOT offer Direct Deposit, which means I had to deposit my paycheck in person during my lunch break (how 1990s!), which means the bank will now hold over $1000 of my money for the next THREE DAYS, leaving me with only $250 in hand. After working 15 days, I've so far received $550 and a tank of gas. This is entirely unacceptable. The boss's response? "They cannot legally do that!" and "It has nothing to do with me." Except it has everything to do with him, since he refuses to enact a DD policy for his workers. I submitted my week's notice on the spot. This is an absolute dealbreaker; it extends the payday from every 2 weeks to every 2.5 weeks. I can literally get another job next week, and get paid from that one before I get the next check from this place!!!

From start to finish (although it never got finished) the project we had this company do was horrible. We had a water leak so this was a home owners insurance claim. After the mitigation crew was done Galaxy builders came in to repair drywall, paint, replace linoleum flooring and do some caulking in a bathroom. It took 40 days. I wish I could post pictures to show how truly horrible of a job was done. The first guys that came argued and yelled at each other and wreaked of cigarette smoke. The demolition was done fine. The second crew that came to put everything back together again wreaked of cigarette smoke. They cut every corner they could. Talking us in to peel and stick tiles because they said if the got anything else it would take weeks to get here. They couldn't even install the peel and stick right. Crooked and peeling up the day after. The "foreman" came after we called to tell them the work was not up to snuff. He said they'd get it all fixed and done right. The next crew that came laid linoleum that had big bubbles. They reused the old trim and caulked horribly. They were paid to paint the bathroom ceiling and walls and the bedroom ceiling. They only painted in the spots they replaced the drywall and it shows. They could not match the texture of the ceiling so you can see where all repairs were done. We were told that would all be fixed. The final crew came in to supposedly fix all the issues. They left it basically the same. The floor is bubbly and crooked. Caulking and paint look like they were done by amateurs. They cut a hole for an outlet that was too big. There are holes in caulk and patched drywall areas. They stained our toilet seat because they sat something on it. Most places they caulked, they didn't bother to wipe down so now we have dirt and dust called in. All in all a horrible experience. We let them know about the issues each time and we were ignored. Now we are stuck with a bathroom that we are going to have to fix out of our pockets if we ever want to sell our house. These are very unprofessional people.
