Steven Allen, I can't thank you enough for the new walk deck you built for me. We agreed on a great price and you stuck to it even though I asked for extras. You took so much care to make sure every detail was perfect. Your guys were experienced and top notch. You were always on time, and your attention to detail and quality was second to none. Absolute perfect quality was the theme for every aspect of the entire project including the framing, sheet rock, stucco, door hanging and trim, electrical and painting. When my roofer, the one I chose, did not know how to seal where the deck met the house, you jumped in and made sure it was done right and did it yourself. I also want to say what a great guy you are. You were always professional, and enjoyable to be around. I truly can't say enough about what a pleasant experience it was working with you. I would definitely recommend you and am looking forward to working with you again. I will have more projects!

In Q4 2023, Allen Construction gutted a ground floor bathroom for a tub to shower conversion. The job was initially successful. However in September 2025, there was water damage in our home that was traced to 2 leaks in the copper pipes that had been soldered during the renovation. Water damage requires urgency to remediate and I had to hire plumbers and a restoration company to address. I did contact the contractor to share what happened and a plumber from his staff (not the one that did the work) came to look at it. My insurance company had their law firm send out a demand letter to Mr. Allen address my out of pocket costs and insurance deductible. I didn't initiate this; the insurance company did. I also shared with Mr. Allen; photos and what had transpired over the initial 3 day period of the water leak. I also asked Mr. Allen in September and again in October to reimburse me for my out of pocket costs and my insurance deductible. Mr. Allen at this time would like me to contact the registrar of contractors and discuss this with them. This is an unfortunate situation for all parties involved; I just expect people and companies to do the right thing when something goes wrong and to take some accountability. Since Mr. Allen was the general contractor, I do not know the plumber's name that worked on my bathroom. In hindsight, it is critical to find out these details that involve water and electrical risk to a home.
